Situated in the beautiful shetland Isles, Shetland Jewellery (Originally known as Shetland Silvercraft) was founded by Jack Rae in 1953.
Jack's son Kenneth has run the company for many years until handing over the reigns to Sophie at the end of 2023. Sophie is a Jeweller of over 20 years, and was trained in the Weisdale workshop.
The workshop is situated next to the beautiful and tranquil Hellister Loch in Weisdale, Shetland. Each piece is hand crafted in our workshop using the lost wax casting process and carries a lifetime guarantee.

MAKING WORKSHOPS
Join us in our friendly workshop in Weisdale and create your own set of stacking rings.
With the girls guiding you, you'll design beautiful rings for yourself, fuelled with tea, coffee, and cake to keep you going. Classes are small, relaxed, and lots of fun. You can even add a little sparkle with a gemstone at no extra cost!

Comission Drawings
We understand that many of our customers would like something unique designed—whether for themselves, as a gift, or as a recycling project.
Here’s how it usually works: we take your ideas and create drawings for you. A £50 fee covers the drawings and acts as a deposit towards your piece if you decide to go ahead.
